INeedaMassage facebook page - how You can benefit.
Want Online Customers to click straight through to YOUR Web page?
-Saves online customers the need to search from the home page on INeedaMassage.
One of the great things about having your massage web page on INeedaMassage is that we can organise to have online customers seeking massage servcies to land directly on your web page. They see you first.
In the same way that INeedaMassage management market the service nationally, we can also market your web page in your local area. You see Google permits ads to run within a radius as small as 15kms.So for instance, if you're in a regional area we can set up a campaign in Google that talks only about you and your service and when people click through on that ad, customers link to your web page on INeedaMassage.
For example if I'm an online customers in Portland in Victoria we can organise a Google Ad that ONLY appears on Google when a customer types in "massage in Portland" / "Portand massage" / etc. When they type such a phrase in Google and then see an Ad saying "Massage Therapist in Portland - Experienced, great rates, etc who do you think they'll want to investigage first?
This can also be used in a slower week by massage therapists living in the metropolitan areas too.
The great thing is you control how much you want to spend on such a campaign per day /per month /etc.
Cost - You actually decide. Google allows you to set a budget. You can do this for as little as $5 per day which at current rates (which kinda vary depending on demand for key phrases) you should get about 5-6 customers landing on your page for that kind of budget. Don't forget marketing spend is about conversion so if you're confident that people landing on your web page will most likely make a booking - this is a great strategy to try.
If you're interested in this, we would help you set up a Google account and get you started.

How to get your business on page 1 of Google using Maps
That is, when you search ‘massage’ or some massage related term on Google, Google sometimes displays a map of the area on page 1 with - Massage Therapists business name, address, phone, and a web link. This is a great business booster and actually free through a Google service called “Google Places. ”
The only catch is you really need to include your street number as well as name. You see when you want to change part of a Google Places (map) listing, Google send you a passwords which you have to input into Google Places to action the change. They either sms the password to your mobile phone or they use the street address in the Map listing. If you have no street number, you may never get the password and may never change the map details. Google will sometimes only send the password to the map address and not give an option for sms!
Some do not use Google Places for privacy reasons. Some use a physical address close by which they have access to in case Google wants to mail out the password. Then if someone enquires they can confirm the actual studio address with them ‘when’ they feel comfortable. You must have access to this physical address though.

Controlling an initial phone inquiry that starts with " How much does a massage cost?"
Phone: “Ring ring ring” Therapist: “Hello (name speaking/business name) how many I help you?” Client: “Hi how much is a massage.”
Tip: Never answer an initial price question with your prices.
There will always find someone cheaper so chances are you won’t get the booking or at least get a chance to see if you want the booking. Let’s continue with the conversation and simply ignore the price question…
Therapist “Hi, my name is (name) may I ask your name.”
Tip: You see by doing this, you are asserting that you are interested in transparent clients who are after a quality service, not only the cheapest price.
Client: “Oh up …I’m John” Therapist: “Hi John, how are you today” Client: “I’m ok thanks…
Tip: Now when someone has been asked ‘how are you today’ and answered ‘I’m ok thanks’ or something to that effect what is the normal response from that person. In 99% of cases, the client will then say…
Client: “How are you?” Therapist: “I’m fine thank you.”
Tip: This process only takes about 5 seconds in reality and by doing this you have turned the conversation around from a demeaning “how much” and you have demonstrated that:
a) You are professional b) You insist on common manners
The hardest thing to do is ignore the client’s first question “how much is massage.” We have done this more times than we can count and it has never failed! Try it next time you get such an initial question.
More than this, we then take 100% control of the conversation and ask the client at least 3 questions before we disclose our pricing.
These may include; Therapist Questions:
“Can I ask what type of massage you’re looking for” “When are you looking for the massage” “Have you been massaged before – what type of massage was this?” “Where are you coming from” “Are you seeking an in call or outcall”
As the client answers, we are asking ourselves this one questions:
Do I feel comfortable enough with this person to have them in my home/studio and massage them?”
If you decide we don’t feel comfortable for any reason at all, we simply say we can’t help them today. If we decide we feel comfortable, we then discuss pricing and a booking time.
Tip: By doing this you have not only turned the whole conversation around but you have decided firstly, if you want to take the booking and only then have you had to discuss your pricing.

Can I use my listing on INeedaMassage as my Web Page? Yes You Can!
I’ve been asked by some members who have no web site if their listing page on our site can act as a web site for their customers. The answer is definitely YES! You’ll note your listing page has the following web address www.ineedamassage.com.au/yourlistingname
For example my web page on the site is www.ineedamassage.com.au/Theo-A
So if I type this straight into a browser or put it on a business card, then my customers go straight to my web page and can have full use of the booking enquiry form on the page! If you don’t have a web site, why not give your customers another way of getting in touch or finding your contact details quickly.

INeedaMassage face book page - how You can benefit.
INeedaMassage.com.au face book Page
Rather than being a static ‘do nothing’ page, our face book page has been designed to encourage interaction by face book members by way of several questions we’ve posted on the Wall. Some are tongue in cheek such as:
WHAT CELEBRITY WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO MASSAGE YOU? WHAT POLITICIAN WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO MASSAGE YOU?
It’s actually a good way for us all to get some research about massage from face book members so if you want to ask something other than ‘what celebrity would you like to massage you’ – please post a question. I’m inviting comments from all face book members and allowing links as part of the comments.
What does this mean for you? Whether you post a question or comment I encourage you INCLUDE A LINK to you Web page on INeedaMassage.com.au. Maybe even include your suburb in your comment to advise face book members where you are.
(For newer members, your listing page is a web page www.ineedamassage/yourlistingname eg mine is www.ineedamassage.com.au/Theo-A)
Any interaction you have with the page helps promote the site and you - Like it / Place comments on it / Answer some questions / link to your web page / promote it to your friends – it’s a fun way to also promote your services to friends of friends who may also then contribute.
